My name is Larry and I am a senior in high school. I have been a Christian all my life, and have recently rededicated my life to Christ in the past several years. I have always been fascinated with missionary work and the courage it took for the missionaries to go to far-away places where the living conditions are drastically lower and even places where their own lives are in danger. When I was younger, I used to think, “How great is this God who can inspire these men and women to go through so much for Him.” Now that I have grown and matured in Jesus, I understand and can hear the call of the Lord calling me to go to wherever I am needed. Recently, at a Missions Conference at OCM Grace Church, I was so moved by the Holy Spirit that I publicly proclaimed my decision to go out into the world to spread the Word of God to the unreached. That is the reason why I really want to go to this mission trip. I know it will be a great experience and it will get me better prepared for future trips, like say, if I decide to go preach to the people of China or Africa. In order to go worldwide, I needed to start right here in my own country.
