Hi, my name is Terence. I’m currently 15 years old. I am the son of Lucy and Johnson and have two twin sisters, Leslie and Kimberly. One of the main things that I like to do is play sports. I enjoy playing a number of sports which include soccer, basketball, and tennis. I also like watching TV and eating. My favorite sport teams include the Jets, the Nets, and the Mets. My favorite foods are steak and seafood.
This summer I will be going on a mission trip to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. This will be my first mission trip and anticipate that it will be a great one. While we are there, we will be working a lot with the people of the reservation. Some of the different things that we would be doing are building parts of houses, meeting new people, sharing our faith, and helping out with a VBS program.
I want to go on this mission trip because I feel that it is the right time. My faith is at the right point where I want to go on a mission trip. I really enjoy helping others, especially when I am helping them come to know God. This trip will both strengthen my spiritual relationship with God as well as test it because going on your first mission trip that is in a far away place like South Dakota won’t be easy. I will need to continue to strengthen my relationship with God during the time leading up to the trip.
